ITC3613 Health science of intimate apparel

After taking the first health science of intimate apparel class with Prof. Tang Pak- Lai, Faculty of health & social science, pointed out a few insightful norms about intimate apparel as follows.

"Normally nobody cannot see what you are wearing inside in the daily life. You are the one who knows and can feel it. It is a very subjective matter."

"Ensure the dye chemicals do not irritate our sensitive body area. Otherwise, it could be harmful to wearer's health."

"The less fabric and coverage, the more expensive."

“The difference between the craft maker and designer is that-

Craft maker is a doer who focuses on making the product well.

Designer is a doer who put the user's needs as the first priority.”

...

Therefore, to be a professional lingerie designer , health and safety issues should be considered as important as the aesthetic, fitting, trend, functionality and cost in the design criteria.

On the other hand, my classmates were active and asked any question about body care, beauty enhancement products, weight management and pregnancy. I believe most of my classmates enjoyed Prof. Tang's teaching... so did I.
