瓷能水龍頭兩秒有熱水

傳統儲水式熱水爐須將冷水煲熱，通常要等數分鐘才可享用熱水，洗手或洗澡時間中會因「水滾唔切」出現「忽冷忽熱」問題。本港有公司利用一種名為「瓷能發熱」的新技術，開發了一系列即熱式熱水器，只需兩至三秒便可以將冷水加熱三十度，幾乎扭開水喉便有熱水。

開發商指出，「瓷能發熱器」的核心是一種內置發熱絲的耐熱陶瓷片，只需把裝有發熱陶瓷片的水龍頭接駁至水喉管，再開啟熱水開關，陶瓷片內的發熱絲便會通電，將陶瓷片加熱至攝氏一千二百度高溫，冷水在水龍頭內經過陶瓷片時，兩至三秒間便可升溫三十度，適合洗手或洗澡使用。

「瓷能發熱技術」靠一塊陶瓷片將冷水加熱，陶瓷片內的發熱絲通電後可令陶瓷片升溫至千二度。

體積細 耗電少 防漏電
由於水龍頭內置恒溫器，可保持水溫穩定。若陶瓷片被撞擊破損時，由於內部的發熱絲遠較陶瓷脆弱，會比陶瓷片先折斷，電流即時中斷，可防止扭水龍頭時出現觸電意外。瓷能發熱器除可內置於水龍頭，亦可以製成中介裝置，裝在水龍頭與冷水喉之間，該公司亦正研究將瓷能發熱技術，應用在飲水機、咖啡機或茶煲等具加熱功能的電器上。

「瓷熱水龍頭」可在兩至三秒內將水加熱。

開發商稱，「瓷能發熱」的熱水裝置，比傳統電熱式或儲水式熱水器耗電量較低，且較傳統氣體式熱水爐安全，不會因氣壓過大而爆炸或因銅管破裂而漏電。另外「瓷能發熱」產品毋須佔用龐大空間儲水，成品體積亦可以比傳統熱水爐細小得多。

熱水爐殺人事件

少女石油氣熱水爐冲凉昏迷
一名少女偕家人及男友農曆新年期間返汕尾度歲，少女在鄉間浴室使用石油氣熱水爐冲凉時，疑因天氣寒冷而把門窗緊閉，又沒有開抽氣扇，結果導致一氧化碳中毒昏迷，幸家人及時發現送院搶救。由於鄉間醫療設備不足，家人在當地醫生建議下，將女事主經文錦渡送返本港醫治，目前情況嚴重。

老爺電熱水爐失靈炸爛屋
觀塘瑞寧街一個單位的電熱水爐，疑因男戶主凌晨冲凉後沒有關掣致恒溫器失效，爐內水蒸氣壓力過大， 7小時後熱水爐猛烈爆炸，單位浴室牆壁炸至倒塌，屋內家具雜物東歪西倒，熱水爐內膽飛落街，幸未有造成傷亡事故。事件中，警方疏散逾百名居民，機電署撿走熱水爐殘骸調查原因。

洗澡沒熱水 婦人換熱水器電池墜樓
台北縣林口鄉4日發生一起墜樓意外，女子李旻靜爬上住家陽台換熱水器電池，卻不慎從5樓跌到2樓，警方趕到時，因救護車遲未抵達，只好以巡邏車將女子送醫，李女仍宣告不治；家屬急得痛罵；消防局則表示已盡力了。
