It's almost the end...

Just have a feeling that something important will happen in my life soon...

I wish that I could fast forward the time and know what's gonna experience next...

Also, Tang Cat Cat is really funny. I really enjoy chatting with him in Mandarin. I am thankful to meet so many great people lately.

(Knowledge)

(Attitude)

(Practice)

(Power)

Why are you keeping the orange for that long?

Are you okay?

Curious why you keep the orange that I have given you two weeks ago...

Womanizer by Britney Spears

Superstar
Where you from, how's it going?
I know you
Got a clue, what you doing?

You can play brand new to
All the other chicks out here
But I know what you are
What you are, baby

Look at you
Gettin' more than just a re-up
Baby you
Got all the puppets with their strings up

Fakin' like a good one
But I call 'em like I see 'em
I know what you are
What you are, baby

Womanizer, woman-womanizer
You're a womanizer
Oh, womanizer, oh
You're a womanizer, baby

You, you, you are
You, you, you are
Womanizer, womanizer
Womanizer

Boy don't try to front, uh, I
Know just, just, what you are, ah, ah
Boy don't try to front, uh, I
Know just, just, what you are, ah, ah

You got me going
You're oh so charming
But I can't do it
You womanizer

Boy don't try to front, uh, I
Know just, just, what you are, ah, ah
Boy don't try to front, uh, I
Know just, just, what you are, ah, ah

You say I'm crazy
I got you crazy
You're nothing but a
Womanizer

Daddy-O
You got the swagger of a champion
Too bad for you
You just can't find the right companion

I guess when you have one too many
Makes it hard, it could be easy
Who you are
That's just who you are, baby

Lollipop
Must mistake me, you're the sucker
To think that I
Would be a victim, not another

Say it, play it, how you wanna?
But no way I'm ever gonna
Fall for you
Never you, baby

Womanizer, woman-womanizer
You're a womanizer
Oh, womanizer, oh
You're a womanizer, baby

You, you, you are
You, you, you are
Womanizer, womanizer
Womanizer

Boy don't try to front, uh, I
Know just, just, what you are, ah, ah
Boy don't try to front, uh, I
Know just, just, what you are, ah, ah

You got me going
You're oh so charming
But I can't do it
You womanizer

Boy don't try to front, uh, I
Know just, just, what you are, ah, ah
Boy don't try to front, uh, I
Know just, just, what you are, ah, ah

You say I'm crazy
I got you crazy
You're nothing but a
Womanizer

Maybe if
We both lived in a
Different world

It would be all good
And maybe I could be your girl
But I can't
'Cause we don't

Womanizer, woman-womanizer
You're a womanizer
Oh, womanizer, oh
You're a womanizer, baby

You, you, you are
You, you, you are
Womanizer, womanizer
Womanizer

Boy don't try to front, uh, I
Know just, just, what you are, ah, ah
Boy don't try to front, uh, I
Know just, just, what you are, ah, ah

You got me going
You're oh so charming

Yoga: The Ultimate Path to a Purposeful and Joyous Life

The workshop will introduce the theories and practices of different types of yoga, like Karma Yoga, Bhakti Yoga and Raja Yoga. Participants will learn some practical postures and breathing techniques that help develop perfect psychological and physical health and harmony.

Tutors:

Mr. K.P. Daswani, a well-known scholar of Indian philosophy, and trustee of the Chinmaya Mission;

Ms. Kavita Khosa who used to run a Yoga school in Hong Kong and is associated with the Iyengar Institute of Yoga;

Mr. Alex Medin, who is currently an instructor with Pure Yoga and is also a yoga scholar; and

Mr. Hari Cheng, Shivanand Yoga teacher

Workshop Outline:

Session One: The Meaning and Purpose of Yoga. During this session, the five-fold division of yoga will be expounded and the concept of vedanta will be explained

Session Two: Karma Yoga. How can ordinary actions in our daily life be transmuted into a yogic (cosmic) one? This session will explain how each and every action of ours can be transformed into a cosmic one, thus making our personality a wholesome one.

Session Three: Bhakti Yoga. This session will touch on how various devotional practices that are prevalent today can lead to purification of heart and mind.

Session Four: Raja Yoga. This session will focus on the well-known eight-fold path of the great yogic master Patanjali, who authored the Yogasutra in the 3rd C BC. The eight-fold path culminates in the technique of meditation which is critical for concentration and for the pursuit of happiness.

Sessions Five & Six: Posture and Breathing Techniques (Asanas and Pranayama ). These two sessions will focus entirely on the practical skills for developing perfect health and harmony, though preceded by philosophical underpinnings.

All PolyU full-time students and staff are welcome!

This workshop will be in English and supplemented with Cantonese.

Jointly presented with Consulate General of India, Hong Kong

15 October - 19 November 2008
(Every Wednesday - 6 sessions)
6 pm - 7:30 pm
Kwong On Jubilee Sports Centre

I enjoy the workshop very much. The theory and ansana practice are great. I am grateful to meet a few great teachers from the yoga community. Mr. K.P. Daswani is a wise gentleman and shares useful wisdom with us as a group of young hardworking individual in Hong Kong. Ms. Kavita Khosa is cool and asks us to try something different in life- "Headstand". Her class is very fun! Mr. Hari Cheng teaches us how to rest and relax properly. I almost felt a sleep in the dead man pose during hist class.

On the other hand, I have met many yoga friends who have taken classes from Mr. Alex Medin. It was my first time to meet him in my life. He is very humble and helpful. I love to practice with him.

I hope that there is more yoga workshop like this... more wisdom, less commercial!
