Drills for Creativity

“The key question isn't, 'What fosters creativity?' But it is, 'Why isn't everyone creative?'”

- Abraham Maslow

Dear Candy:

Creative ideas result in new discoveries, better ways of doing things, reduced costs and improved performance. Here are some tips you can use to drive innovation in your workplace:

- Visualize your goal or objective
- Get the facts with regard to the situation and then state what the problem is
- Brainstorm possible ideas/solutions with your team. Evaluate each idea/solution
- Once the solution is determined, get "buy-in"
- Implement the solution, follow up on it and evaluate it
