Double Date

Zohar, one of my friends from Israel introduced Tsahar (Her Boyfriend) and Harel (Tsahar's Younger Brother) to me. We went for a double date in Central last night. It was fun!

We will play table tennis tonight... to be continued.

But, somehow the baby fox puppy cannot see, cannot hear and cannot bark. The baby fox, now named `Helen,' responds to Taichi's devoted efforts to care for her and begins to strive to live. The boy and his veterinarian family watch over her with encouragement and love. The story is based on an incident actually experienced by TAKETAZU Minoru, who is involved in wildlife conservation in Hokkaido. This charming animal story is deeply moving...perhaps to the point of tears.

It is a heart felt movie that I have not watched for age. Beautiful views, a simple story line, the baby fox and Taichi are very cute... I strongly recommend to people watching this movie, which helps us to think positive in life.

Gladly, Mandy and I watched it last night and heard a lot to nosing sneezing sounds in the theater.

No More Physical

My membership of Physical Fitness has just been expired today. I am very happy to completed 194 classes in one year including Yoga, Step, Kickboxing, Weightlifting, Aerobics Dance, Stretch, and Belly Dancing... The most benefit part is that I have found something cool about Yoga.

很久沒有說過這句英文了!! 真有趣, 番開記念冊一定會見到同學寫這句話,

人愈大, 朋友愈來愈多, 但真的很久沒聽過別人向我說: friendship forever , 友誼永固 之類.

我不是在此埋怨身邊的朋友對我的遺忘,

而是發覺忽略了向朋友發出友誼永固的承諾, 友誼也需要承諾,尤如愛情.

沒有承諾的友誼, 有時候會建立得不夠深, 不夠穩...... 單向式的祈望帶出意料不到的失望.....感到朋友待你不好,其實是大家對對方了解不夠深~!

近來給 '友誼' 這兩個字煩著, 但這也倒好, 讓我在神裏學了何謂友誼~~

應是成功的代名詞

　有成千上萬的球癡為他默默打氣，呼喊他的名字，心裏暗盼他的入球。他有位美艷能幹的嬌妻在背後默默支持，同時又有美女投懷送抱。碧咸，你究竟是優秀的球員？是惹人羨慕的男人？還是具備爆炸力的商品？說得準繩點，你該是成功的代名詞吧？

　為怕失敗，有些人拚命爭勝。有一研究發現，有多於一半的運動員，甘願減壽來願換取運動場上的金牌 1！ 為怕失敗，人們對成功路卻步，身心充塞對失敗的恐懼，隱藏計時炸彈，快要爆發出令人窒息的沼氣。 為免擊破這計時炸彈，人們左顧右盼，留有餘力，像有甚麼忌諱似的，恍如在緊張的情緒下發揮不了潛能的碧咸，未能隨心所欲，失敗應運而生。

適當壓力可保動力

　心理學家常用拋物線的理論去解釋壓力與表現，中度的壓力既可保持動力，亦不致無法抵禦的緊張情緒。亦有心理學研究明確指出，失敗者往往是英語所謂的choker 1。Choker的特徵，是他們過分把精神習中於某一行動上。在一些運動員的腦掃描研究中，choker在受壓時，左腦活動如進行分析、推論的行為會過分活躍，阻礙了右腦的空間感、平衡與時速感，令他們較容易失敗。比較能抵禦壓力的成功者，在受壓時會減少思考，讓腦袋平靜，潛能會發揮得更好。
　受壓的碧咸，是甚麼左腦思想干擾了他的右腦思緒，令他走向失敗的邊緣呢？會否是：
　我不想做個失敗者！
　如何走出困局呢？
　輸了波，國民會怎樣的失望？
　對方是耍甚麼把戲呢？
　怎樣才可保這萬人景仰的位置呢？
　平凡的我們，又是甚麼思緒在打亂我們的陣腳呢？是像碧咸的好勝心，還是自怨自艾、自尋煩惱、杞人憂天呢？

Early Morning Yoga Class

Due to the SEPA meeting tonight, I took the yoga class this morning at 6:45am. I found that the sequence was harder and I sweated a lot. Dileep told me, "You are not a beginner anymore!"

This quarter has gone very fast and the Worldly things (Money, work, stress, solitude, self-centre, clubbing, boyfriends...) have cost me so much time & energy to chase.

窮的定義*

一位父親很有錢，有一天，他和家人帶著小兒子到鄉下去參觀。他們立意要讓小兒子知道什麼叫做「窮」，所以帶他去農村，要他實地體會一下窮人的生活。
 
他們在一個很窮的農家裡住了兩天。
 
農家的孩子要負責餵養家畜，要負責訓練幫忙農事的狗。
 
傍晚時分，為了節省自來水費，農家的孩子們都到附近的小溪裡去洗澡；晚上沒錢沒燈、 沒錢付電費，

只能全家聚在黑漆漆的院子裡聊天。

當他們從農家回來以後，爸爸問孩子說：「你覺得這趟行程如何？」

孩子說：「很好啊！爸爸！」

「你見識到窮人家到底有多窮了吧？」爸爸問。

「是啊！」孩子點 頭稱是。

「那你看到了什麼嗎？」爸爸又問。

孩子回答說：「我終於見識到我們家到底有多窮了。」

孩子繼續說：「我們只有一隻狗，但是他們卻有四隻狗；那四隻大狗在他們小孩的指揮之下 ，又聽話，又懂事。當他們家的小孩好神氣！」

「而且，我們只有一個游泳池，還是在花園中間；但是他們卻有一整條溪流，沒有盡頭；他們每天都可以盡情地玩水仗，我們家卻只有我一個人游泳。」

「還有，我們家的花園只有一排進口的路燈，可是他們卻有滿天的星星；

他們每天晚上都可以聊天聊得好高興，可是我們家卻沒有人跟我聊天。」

「我們家的空間只到前面庭院，但他們卻有整個天地的空間。」孩子作了個結論。

孩子說完，父親無言以對。

Cellphone Phone Book Management

1) How many contacts do you have in your cellphone? 20, 50, 100 or even more...

2) Do you delete phone numbers regular and only keep a few important numbers?

3) What type of contacts do you keep? Friends, family members, coworkers, business partners, credit card and bank...

4) Whose do you delete? Ex, people you are no longer in touch, forget or have a fright...

I gladly have gained many friendships during my overseas studies and decided to organize my phone book from A to Z in the bus today. Looking up their names and numbers, I wondered if they still lived at that place and what they were doing. I did have a rush to call them up... but I could not think of anything to talk with them. Well, I did delete a few people because some of them have changed numbers.

Moreover, the number of contacts in my phonebook is sizing up as a Marketing Executive. My client's phone numbers are very important and I have to keep in touch with regularly just making sure that I am still alive in their mind.

Something Sucks...

Recently, I have been feeling extremely exhausted for my work because a very demanding client is driving me nut. My effort and dedication are not reaching her expectation. 2. 莫大媽，55 歲，家庭主婦，無薪。
3. 莫一毛，35 歲，一個月前被解僱，見了多份工，仍無結果。
4. 莫二毛，30 歲，在地盤做散工，雖然有工作，但一星期開工不足35 小時。
5. 莫三毛，14 歲，失學，多次尋找工作但無人請。

假如你是這援助金的審批人，你會把援助金發給誰呢？根據統計處的界定，失業人口包括所有在統計前 30 天內有找尋工作而在 7 天內並無職位，且並無為賺取薪酬或利潤而工作，及隨時可工作的人士。

由於莫大毛和莫大媽沒有找尋工作，所以並非失業人士。莫三毛年齡不足 15 歲，根本不屬於勞動人口，雖沒有工作，也不算是失業。而莫二毛呢？他(在非自願的情況下)每星期工作不足35 小時，只算是就業不足。結果只有莫一毛有資格領取這個特別失業援助金。

香港的勞動人口大概有300萬，最近公布的失業率為5%，即是說現在香港像莫一毛一樣的失業人士大約有17萬人。若富商每人每月發放$100，即每月大概支付$1,700 萬。
