Choice

After reading the shocking news about Rahul, I could not sleep until 2:00am. It was disturbing. Trying to put myself into his corner and calming myself down were the only thing that I could do on the tiny bed.

Choice! I have to make a decision for myself. Living in the past is not going to work. Getting out somebody's shadow will be a Smarter Choice. There is plenty of things I have not done and many people I have not met.

Therefore, I just did exercise in the gym and tried to think nothing in the early morning.

Now, my life is going to be changed to the positive direction and I become a newer person. Nothing & nobody are going to hold me back. Let's fight!

Rahul Bhise... he is taken

My stomach just doesn't feel right when I heard this news. I feel sad!

But... I have to let go, continue to live with a positive spirit and love myself more. His voice, faical expressions, body moments and our memories will be faded out by time.

I just have to learn how to love him without officially possessing him.

Dale Carnegie Training

Four More Class... I will complete this course with ease. So far... I am happy with the result. My life seems to heading to the right direction and my social networking is working well. My confidence has been built up and I feel less stress day by day.

Definitely, I still need to work on a few weaknesses- Wake up on time, handle rejection with ease, clear presentation to the people and be wiser.

On the other hand, I have made a few new friends- Gloria Ma, Terry Wong, Jacky Wong, Alan Hong, Aileen, Ivy Lam, Lai Sing & Tommy... We might go out and Sing K next week. Cool... isn't it!

Meet Rita in SEPA 06

Erica Mok has brought Rita, a new friend to our SEPA06 circle. Rita hast studied in UC San Diego for the BBA degree and currently been working for a overseas investment firm in Hong Kong. Something in common about Rita, Erica and I were from True Light School and we wore the same Chinese style of School uniform.

Anyway, SEPA06 is planning to have a trip in Lamma Island next month. It's going to be fun to meet more new friends.

DEMOCRATIC
You have two cows.
Your neighbor has none.
You feel guilty for being successful.
Barbara Streisand sings for you.

REPUBLICAN
You have two cows.
Your neighbor has none.
So?

SOCIALIST
You have two cows.
The government takes one and gives it to your neighbor.
You form a cooperative to tell him how to manage his cow.

COMMUNIST
You have two cows.
The government seizes both and provides you with milk.
You wait in line for hours to get it.
It is expensive and sour.

CAPITALISM, AMERICAN STYLE
You have two cows.
You sell one, buy a bull, and build a herd of cows.

BUREAUCRACY, AMERICAN STYLE
You have two cows.
Under the new farm program the government pays you to shoot one,
milk the other, and then pours the milk down the drain.

AMERICAN CORPORATION
You have two cows.
You sell one, lease it back to yourself and do an IPO on the 2nd one.
You force the two cows to produce the milk of four cows. You are
surprised when one cow drops dead. You spin an announcement to the analysts
stating you have downsized and are reducing expenses.
Your stock goes up.

FRENCH CORPORATION
You have two cows.
You go on strike because you want three cows.
You go to lunch and drink wine.
Life is good.

JAPANESE CORPORATION
You have two cows.
You redesign them so they are one-tenth the size of an ordinary
cow and produce twenty times the milk.
They learn to travel on unbelievably crowded trains.
Most are at the top of their class at cow school.

GERMAN CORPORATION
You have two cows.
You engineer them so they are all blond, drink lots of beer, give
excellent quality milk, and run a hundred miles an hour.
Unfortunately they also demand 13 weeks of vacation per year.

ITALIAN CORPORATION
You have two cows but you don't know where they are.
While ambling around, you see a beautiful woman.
You break for lunch.
Life is good.

RUSSIAN CORPORATION
You have two cows.
You have some vodka.
You count them and learn you have five cows.
You have some more vodka.
You count them again and learn you have 42 cows.
The Mafia shows up and takes over however many cows you really have.

TALIBAN CORPORATION
You have all the cows in Afghanistan , which are two.
You don't milk them because you cannot touch any creature' s private parts.
You get a $40 million grant from the US government to find
alternatives to milk production but use the money to buy weapons.

IRAQI CORPORATION
You have two cows.
They go into hiding.
They send radio tapes of their mooing.

POLISH CORPORATION
You have two bulls.
Employees are regularly maimed and killed attempting to milk them.

BELGIAN CORPORATION
You have one cow.
The cow is schizophrenic.
Sometimes the cow thinks he's French, other times he's Flemish.
The Flemish cow won't share with the French cow.
The French cow wants control of the Flemish cow's milk.
The cow asks permission to be cut in half.
The cow dies happy.

FLORIDA CORPORATION
You have a black cow and a brown cow.
Everyone votes for the best looking one.
Some of the people who actually like the brown one best accidentally vote for the black one.
Some people vote for both.
Some people vote for neither.
Some people can't figure out how to vote at all.
Finally, a bunch of guys from out-of-state tell you which one you think is the best-looking cow.

CALIFORNIA CORPORATION
You have millions of cows.
They make real California cheese.
Only five speak English.
Most are illegals.
Arnold likes the ones with the big udders.

Write more

Random thoughts:

1) Pushing myself to write more so that I could make a few marks in the history, isn't it cool? Recently, I have more confidence and feel happier than ever. My workload is much more than ever (everybody feels the same, right?), but I am excited to go to work and be grateful for be alive.

2) … Vacation… Beach, Big blue sky and foreign language, I just want to take a short trip to somewhere I have never been. God, please give me some insights.

3) Making a few new friends recently is great. Gloria Ma, Steven Ko, Katie Cheung... Thanks for your smiles and love!

4) Dreamt about Rahul last night… we were talking just like the same old days. I wonder where is he now.

5) Have you ever experienced something like this?

- The clip of Unhappy/ Happy Moment play in your head over 10 times a day.

- Feel so excited because of nothing.

- No time to spend money.

I am glad to read the 25th Anniversary Yearbook of my primary school. Thanks God so much for giving me this chance to visit my childhood. The time just flies too fast that I could not believe.

Well, here were my classmates who could share the memories with me. If you were in the pictures, please feel free to contact me.

P.S. Thanks for lending me the year book, Steven Ko!

New Hong Kong I.D. Card

Getting up extra early was not difficult. My dad just woke me up at 6:30am so that we could have breakfast together in Causeway Bay and apply the Hong Kong I.D. Card.

In the register, I was asked about my nationality. Well, I hated to answer this question, but just claimed myself to be "BNO". I was born before 1997. Hong Kong was ruled by Britain. The officer of colonial government stamped my birth certificate. So far, I pay no tax to the Queen at all. Should I consider myself to be Chinese either?

Anyway, I will get my ID in two weeks. Glad!!Smartid_mv_20060324c

Inside Man (2006)

Genres: Drama, Thriller and Crime/Gangster
Official Website: http://www.insideman.net/index.php
Running Time: 128 min.
Starring: Denzel Washington, Clive Owen, Jodie Foster, Willem Dafoe, Chiwetel Ejiofor  Directed by: Spike Lee  Produced by: Daniel Rosenberg, Brian Grazer
Four people dressed in painters' outfits march into the busy lobby of Manhattan Trust, a cornerstone Wall Street Branch of a worldwide financial institution. Within seconds, the costumed robbers place the bank under a surgically planned siege, and the 50 patrons and staff become unwitting pawns in an airtight heist. NYPD hostage negotiators Detectives Keith Frazier and Bill Mitchell are dispatched...

**************************************************************************************************

Did you have a chance to watch the new movie "Inside Man" which has Denzel Washington and Jodie Foster?

I just watched it with my Hong Kong friends. Personally, I think it is great. The story line was simple, but the director presented wanted to say something more than a bank robbery story.

Luckily, I got a chance to live in the United States once and experience the racism. It was not easy to be a non native speaker. Some locals just look down on people who speak different accents, wear different skin colors and the cultures. Of course, I met many nice friends throughout my overseas studies.

Anyway, the script was great. Let's give it a try!

Yoga

Yoga... I used to hate this type of sport. Too slow, boring, no beat & not much movement...

Five months ago, I have started going to "Physical", a local gym in Hong Kong. The Yoga instructor was tough and I felt so discouraged because my body was not flexible at all.

Luckily, there were a few nice instructors. E.g. Wen, Susanna, Nolan & Samantha... They were great and inspired me so much.

On the other hand, my body is getting in shape and I have more energy. Although my weight is the same, I feel lighter for my body.

Now, I try to take the yoga class everyday which leads a quicker improvement.
See you in the gym sometimes!
